Project

Alan Davidson Foundation

WeDesign were commissioned to create a brand identity and website for Alan Davidson Foundation, a charity supporting a broad range of causes, with a particular focus on MND research, care and initiatives that help people living with neurological conditions.

The brief called for a minimal and considered identity, shaped around a bright colour palette and a clear, accessible visual language. This approach was carried through across a new website, stationery and an evolving social presence, creating a consistent platform for the foundation’s communications.

A key part of the project involved working with a large archive of drawings by the founder, Alan Davidson. WeDesign carefully curated and developed these architectural sketches, creating montages from the original notebook illustrations before redrawing and vectorising them for use across digital and print applications. The result was an identity rooted in the founder’s own visual language, translated into a flexible system for the foundation’s future work.
